Plan on visiting our museum soon. Our museum is located in Giuseppe's historic garage and includes historic photographs dating from 1906 to the 1950s, and covers the history of Italian immigratiion, the early formation of Folsom, major events in local and national history, all the way to the 1950s. Our museum provides a video tour of the inside of the house, including closed captions for the hearing impaired. We also have audio tours of the museum for the visually impaired. The historic house is being furnished now for tours, giving visitors an idea of what homes in the 1920s provided in the way of convenience. The house is not ADA accessible.
The museum is open the first Saturday of every month from 10 am to 2 pm. We are also open by appointment and for private tours. Admission is free.
Note: In summer, if daytime highs are forecast to be above 100 degrees, the museum will close at noon.
